Art Submission Guidelines
First: The Ground Rules
Before you upload anything, you must agree to:
- Artwork must be original and created by the submitting artist, or submitted by a parent/guardian on behalf of a minor artist.
- Artwork must reflect or connect to Grant County, Kentucky.
- Submission does not guarantee publication or feature placement.
- We Are Grant County reserves the right to select, edit (for sizing/layout), and determine final placement.
- No political campaign content or religious promotion.
AI Policy
Artwork may not be 100% AI-generated. If AI tools were used in the creation process, the artist must clearly disclose how AI was used. Submissions that are primarily prompt-generated without significant human creative input will not be accepted.
Artist Statement
You will be asked to write a statement of 100–300 words that answers:
- What inspired this piece?
- How does it reflect Grant County?
- What do you hope viewers feel?
Upload Requirements
- If photographed, confirm good lighting and straight crop.
- If the artwork includes identifiable individuals, you must have their permission and include their name with the submission.
