Submission Guidelines

Before submitting, you must agree:

Work must be original and created by the person submitting it, or submitted by a parent/guardian on behalf of a minor creator.
Content must relate to or be inspired by Grant County, Kentucky.
Submission does not guarantee publication.
We Are Grant County reserves the right to edit for clarity, length, grammar, and layout.
No political campaign content or religious promotion.
AI-assisted writing must be disclosed.

Word Count Guidelines

Poetry: Up to 40 lines
Short Stories: 300–1,500 words
Essays/Memoir: 400–1,200 words

I confirm this is original work created by me, or by the minor I represent as parent/guardian, and I grant We Are Grant County permission to publish it in print, digital, and promotional formats if selected.
